The Emergency Medical Technician Training Program (EMT-Basic) is designed to provide participants with the skills necessary to care for patients in the field or in an emergency room. Prerequisites: 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, pass entrance exam. Also must pass criminal background check to be certified.

EMT-PARAMEDIC
Course No - EMTP20112S
Upon successful completion of the 12 – 18 month course, the Paramedic student will be eligible to challenge the National Registry exam and be licensed as an EMT-Paramedic. EMT-Paramedic is an extensive course consisting of didactic, clinical and field internship hours totaling 1086. Prerequisites: 18 years of age, have a valid Missouri EMT license, have a high school diploma or GED, pass an entrance exam and sit for an interview.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER (40 HOUR)
Course No - EMR2011S
This 40 hour course meets the core requirements from the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services for students seeking certification for Emergency Medical Responder. This class is recommended for anyone needing training in assessment and care of persons sick or injured.
